It’s release day for The Knights of Gaia! Read the first book in my Paragons urban fantasy series set (mostly) in the greater Sydney area (Australia). The ebook is now available worldwide from most online books stores, including Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Amazon (store links below ↓ since they don’t redirect people by country).
Amazon links: Amazon.com, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, France. Those are the links I’ve hunted down so far. If anyone wants another country-specific link, please let me know, and I’ll find it.
The Knights of Gaia print versions will be coming soon.
Sixteen years ago, a terrible Curse struck the Earth. Humanity is still fighting it today.
Like every teenager, Savannah has lived her whole life dreaming of the day she would become a Knight. She’s spent every waking hour studying, training, performing—anything she could do to convince the Government to put her on that elite list.
But she doesn’t make the cut.
So Savannah comes up with a dangerous plan. If she succeeds, she will have a second shot at becoming a Knight. But if she fails, she’ll be exiled to the Wilderness, the fallen ruins of civilization where cities crumble and the Cursed Ones prey on the weak.
The Knights of Gaia is the first book in the Paragons urban fantasy series, a tale of chivalrous knights, snarky heroes, supernatural drama—and one young woman’s epic journey to defy the naysayers and seize her destiny.
And in other news…
The second book in the series should be out in the next couple of months. I’ll be putting up a pre-order soon. In the meantime, here’s the cover reveal and blurb.
Meet Savannah Winters: magic apprentice, amateur sleuth, and all-around quirky heroine.
Savannah survived the Apprentice Trials, but her quest to join the Knights of Gaia and save her cursed world has only just begun.
Her life is growing more dangerous every day. Enemy commandos are gathering just outside the city she now calls home. Rogues and thieves plague the Magic Emporium where she works. A ruthless General is still determined to have her exiled—and at least half of her fellow Apprentices would gladly help him do it.
Oh, and let’s not forget the mysterious villain plotting to wipe out every single Knight on the planet. If Savannah can’t put a stop to this sinister plan, her world’s last line of defense will fall, and a magic curse will consume everything in its path.
The Tree of Spirits is the second book in the Paragons urban fantasy series, a tale of chivalrous knights, snarky heroes, supernatural drama—and one young woman’s epic journey to defy the naysayers and seize her destiny.
And now some Legion of Angels news
Gods’ Battleground, the twelfth Legion of Angels novel, is almost ready. I’m going to be optimistic and estimate that it will release in late June or early July.
As for Leda’s Log, I’ll post another chapter next Friday.
Have a great weekend!
Love your books – they’re so fun! Did you decide not to add Knights of Gaia to Kindle Unlimited, or is that still coming up?
Hi, Elisa. I can’t add a book to Kindle Unlimited if it’s available anywhere outside of Amazon. That includes all other bookstores and even my own website. Since I posted a bunch of chapters from the book here on my site, it can’t be in KU (Amazon’s rules, not mine).
You can still buy the book from Amazon (or the other bookstores). In addition, I’ve added the book to Kobo Plus, which is Kobo’s version of KU (which doesn’t have exclusivity rules).
I’ve also published the book to libraries via Overdrive and other systems, so if you request the book from your local library, they should be able to get it for you.
So between all these options, anyone should be able to read The Knights of Gaia. 😊
I read all your Knights of Gaia posts then I just purchased the book. Is the book just the same as the posts or is there new content?
Thanks for purchasing! In the retail version of The Knights of Gaia, there are another 15 chapters over what I’ve posted.
Yay! Thank you 😍 so excited!
Can’t wait to start reading this new epic story
Hi. Marisela,
Hope you enjoy the new series! 😊
