Cindy, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Book 5 will pick up right from the end of book 4 and will deal with the aftermath of that surprise, among other things.

Great book! I am so happy that Leda and Nero finally gave in. I read the other books again too and it's brilliant how many little hints linked to Leda's unexpected little magic trick are already present in the earlier books. A lot "weird" things also get explained or become less "weird" by it, like why she couldn't resist biting Nero after receiving her first gift. There are few books I like to reread, but I love these books so much I am already at round three. This time I didn't read them in order, so I ended up with Nero's confession about how he wanted Leda from the day he met her fresh in my mind before I reread that actual meeting. And I couldn't help but wonder how he ended up interviewing her in the first place. Had he already decided then and there? Or was something else at play? Will we ever get his take on the interview and their first meeting? Like I wrote before, there are lots of hints leading up to the events after the ceremony. Their first meeting is no different. Only Leda doesn't understand what's going on at all, while Nero probably is much more aware of what's happening. It'd be fabulous to get some insight in how he is experiencing things. Are you planning to let us know at some point? Or do we need to leave it up to our own imagination? 5/23/2017 03:22:30 pm

Let me begin by saying I read all four of these books in about a day and a half! They are totally addictive. I got to thinking after the last one that it seems odd that no one talks about the gods.The First Angel's lover is a god but there is no gossip about them. No one ever asks, "Wonder what the gods are like?" Have all the angels seen the gods? Harker was working for one but are they all under some mind control never to speak of them? The gods will make an appearance in Book 5 (specifically around Nero's test), and they will become more central to the plot as the series continue.

I so can not wait for the next book. :) I was curious too, about the gods and Harker's God involvement. Looking forward to seeing a list of the gods, and the Angels, and the gifts for each level here.. :)

I lovvvvvved this series!!!!! I read all 4 books in 2 days!! It was just that GOOD!!! I think the Nero and Leda make such a beautiful couple because they balance each other out. I can't wait till the next books!!!!!! Do you know when the next book might come out?

I have read many books, and I really started to become bored with most of the paranormal books available. I came across this series and felt that excitement I once felt for reading a good book. I would love to see a story about either of Nero's parents. One is interesting because of the Guardians, the other is interesting because he has successfully hid for years from everyone.

Please do not deviate too far from the main storyline. I have seen to many good series lose momentum (and in fact never get finished) because authors decided to go down side roads and ended up losing focus and direction. 4/1/2018 05:00:23 am
